Sadler’s Lake ($3.80) is treated particularly well in the weights and remains outright favourite for success in 2015 Cameron Handicap betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au ahead of unlikely starter Hooked ($4) and Ecuador ($4.40).

Will Sadler’s Lake justify favouritism and win the 2015 Cameron Handicap or will one of his many talented rivals find the line in the clear?

1st

Flamingo Star ($9)

German import Flamingo Star will relish a step-up to 1500m in the 2015 Cameron Handicap, has been confirmed to be partnered by leading hoop Hugh Bowman and offers exceptional value for money at current $9 odds for success. Claiming several impressive wins in Europe amongst particularly talented fields, the Areion entire debuted in Australia for eighth in the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 (1350m) before running second in the Listed Wayne Wilson (1600m) on June 6th.

2nd

Sadler’s Lake ($3.80)

Sadler’s Lake will be partnered by Glyn Schofield and will carrying only 54kgs in the 2015 Cameron Handicap. Running fourth in the Listed South Pacific (1400m) upon resuming on April 11th, the High Chaparral gelding progressed to success in the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate (2000m), fifth in the Group 3 Grand Prix Stakes (2020m) and fourth in the Group 1 Queensland Derby (2200m).

3rd

Malice ($41)

Godolphin runner Malice will leave from the ideal barrier 4 with only 54kgs and undoubtedly figures as overs of $41 for success or $9.40 to finish in the first three in the Cameron Handicap. Malice clearly needed the run when failing to beat a single runner home in the Group 2 Tramway Stakes (1400m) first-up a fortnight ago but will relish the step-up in distance, step back in class and will have taken plenty of benefit from the run.
